FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas center Ricky Stromberg picked up an SEC weekly award Monday.

The Tulsa native was named SEC co-offensive lineman of the week for his play in the Razorbacks’ 45-10 victory over Georgia Southern. He exited the game early in the second half with a leg injury.

Stromberg shared the award with Ole Miss lineman Jeremy James.

A junior, Stromberg is the first Razorback to be named SEC offensive lineman of the week since Dan Skipper in November 2016. Through three games, he is the conference’s top center, according to Pro Football Focus, with a grade of 77.3.

The No. 16 Razorbacks are set to open SEC play Saturday against No. 7 Texas A&M. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. on CBS from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
