Fayetteville police made the arrest and the charges are misdemeanors. He was booked at the Washington County Detention Center at 6: 30 a. m. Haddock, 20, posted a $ 305 bond and was released at 7: 58 a. m. Haddock quit the UA football team Tuesday, UA spokesman Kevin Trainor confirmed during a telephone conversation Sunday afternoon. The reason for Haddock’s departure from the team is unknown at this time, and his status with the team was not shared with the media until Sunday.
Haddock lost his starting spot as Arkansas’ placekicker Nov. 1. He handled all field goal and extra point kicks for five games before sophomore Alex Tejada re-gained the role against Tulsa on Nov. 1. Tejada missed three field goal attempts and one extra point in the first three games of the season. Tejada’s struggles led to coaches naming Haddock as the Hogs’ starter against Texas on Sept. 27. Haddock’s most memorable kick may have come on an extra point against Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 6 that gave Arkansas a 28-27 win. The sophomore transfer from TCU also hit a 44-yard field goal in a 25-22 win over Auburn on Oct. 11. Haddock hit 5-of-7 field goals and 10-of-11 PATs during his short stint at Arkansas. The Arlington, Texas native was a non-scholarship player for the Razorbacks.
